I'm so excited to share my next solo record, The Hero's Journey. The songs are 100% of my own original music, the first album I have made entirely of my own original work. It is inspired by my studies of ancient Greek and Roman mythology, art, culture, and spiritual practices, which is the pre-Christian spirituality of some of my ancestors. The record includes original hymns I've written about Greek gods, as well as songs about the hero's journey we all experience in life. But it's a very contemporary and meaningful exploration of these things, developed mostly through pop and dance music formats, but also some folk music too.
